About Us
These are the outcomes that we aim towards our members achieving.
Be healthy – we ensure that members are aware of the competitions they can train in and take part in. Also included in the county and clubs programmes are speakers and events to raise awareness of issues affecting young people.
Stay safe- YFC offer the opportunity to access training in first aid and health and safety. We also include in our competition programme events to raise awareness of safety in the countryside, on the internet and travelling around the county.
Enjoy and achieve- YFC offers great life skills and opportunities for all members. There is training for club officers, opportunities to go on team building exercises and travel aboard and across the uk. YFC also offers the opportunity to form friendships with like minded people.
Make a positive contribution- as a member, club officer or County officer you can have your say about club matters and often involved in rural issues and forums through reps on the NFU, NFYFC and LCVYS.
Achieve economic well being- YFC can give you the confidence to go out in the world of work, shows on your CV that you have the get up and go to make things happen. Training that you can access can improve the skills and qualifications along side life skills learnt at club and county level.
